Southern Oman possesses many opportunities for hungry soul, but what few know about is the incredible fly fishing opportunities that are available in this incredibly safe, abundant fishery. Fly fishing can be done from a shore experience , or easily be accommodated from our boats. Fish that you can expect to see range from many Species of Trevally such as blacktop trevally, big eye trevally, black tip , bludger trevally, but the one that gets all anglers hearts racing is the enormous Giant Trevally that this fishery holds! Bring lots of backing as you will need it. Stripped streamers, popped gurglers, or dancing some crabs, all sure fire way to catch fish on the fly while your staying In Oman. Don’t forget to make your hooks sharp and strong as the Unique Parrot fish , Wrasse’s and many other reef fish will crush the strongest of your hooks. If you’re feeling brave, you can try to target the pickiest fish we know of, the Milk Fish. If you don’t happen to convince them to eat your algae fly, hold on tight, and make sure your knots are done well! Another fun way to fly fish the area is to chase bait balls, you never know what lurks in the depths, perhaps you’ll find a Dorado on the line, or one of the famous Queen fish that reside in the area!
